As an EXPERIENCED BANKRUPTCY ATTORNEY and FORMER BANKRUPTCY TRUSTEE, I am dedicated to helping individuals, families and small businesses who are confronted with immediate and serious financial crises, requiring the expertise of a knowledgeable, caring and responsive attorney to guide them through the often complex processes of filing a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy petition, and completing the process through total discharge of debts and a fresh financial start. I have practiced bankruptcy law for the majority of my legal career, beginning with my position as a BANKRUPTCY TRUSTEE in the Southern District of Georgia Bankruptcy Court. Following my relocation to the Atlanta area in the 1980's, I served several years as the Regional Partner for a national consumer law clinic, and opened eight storefront locations in the Atlanta area, with a substantial bankruptcy caseload, and responsibility for training all newly hired attorneys in bankruptcy law and practice.
In 1991 I opened my own law firm in the north central area of metropolitan Atlanta, and my bankruptcy practice has been so fulfilling and rewarding that I have, for the past several years, limited my practice solely to this area of law.
I am married with two grown children, and live in the Sandy Spring area of Atlanta.
I have strong communication skills, am a zealous advocate for my clients, and have a proven record of results. I am familiar with Bankruptcy Court and Trustee personnel, as a result of my many years of practice in the Atlanta Division. Most importantly, I treat every client with respect and take pride in my work and my responsiveness to my clients' needs.
I do not charge for initial consultations, whether they be by phone or in person, and there is no expectation of payment until I am satisfied that I can fulfill your expectations 100%!
