Hartman & Associates was founded by Eunice Hartman in 1996. Prior to founding Hartman & Associates, Inc., Ms. Hartman was a member of the senior management team of Mental Health Management of America. This company designed, implemented and managed the first statewide capitated behavioral health managed care carve out for Medicaid consumers in the country. As Director for Clinical Services, Ms. Hartman managed the delivery of services for approximately a half million Medicaid consumers, and was instrumental in the creation of new community based services and an Intensive Clinical Management Program for high risk consumers.
Previously, Ms. Hartman served as Vice President for Managed Care Services for a national employee assistance and managed care company. She designed and managed an integrated product for the delivery of EAP and managed behavioral health services for corporations and unions.
Throughout her career Ms. Hartman has demonstrated a commitment to improving the integration and delivery of health care for consumers. She has experience in medical-surgical nursing, mental health, substance addiction treatment, and crisis intervention with both public and private sector consumers. Ms. Hartman has provided direct service, management, training, psychiatric consultation-liaison and systems consultation in numerous settings.
Ms. Hartman received her Masters in Nursing from Boston University in 1981. She obtained a national certification both as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Community Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing in 1985 and in Advanced Nursing Administration in 1991. Ms. Hartman is published in many subject areas and is a frequent presenter at health care conferences and forums.
