Dog Training in Roebling, New Jersey
Business Description
Allegiance Dog Training aims to foster acceptance in communities through access to quality dog training and education. We focus on science-based dog training and positive reinforcement for both companion and service dogs. Our experience training service dogs means that we have high standards and we teach you how to reach those standards with your own dog.
We offer group classes, private lessons, public outings, and many events to teach you and your dog how to work together as well as giving you lots of opportunities to practice.
We train all kinds of service dog with the exception of guide dogs, but we specialize in owner-trained service dogs for invisible disabilities such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, diabetes response, seizure response, and more. We can help you find a candidate to adopt, assess and train your own dog, certify an appropriately trained dog, and prepare to go out into the world with confidence. We want to make sure that your dog is prepared to enjoy its appointed duties and be able to relax with you at the same time, so we also offer lifetime support for our certified service dog teams.
Our passion to increase acceptance and accessibility of service dogs in the community extends into doing seminars in our facility as well as traveling to speak to others, whether that's at a convention, to other business employees, or even to schools and children.

Some of the seminars we offer (please do not bring your furry companion!) include dog park safety, what is a service dog, and housetraining basics. Some workshops we offer (four-footed companions recommended!) include loose leash basics, meeting other dogs on leash, and stopping jumping (on leash). Community events Allegiance wants to reach out to our community to encourage acceptance and education. So we offer a variety of events including River Pack Walks, Bark 'n Brunches (where we can get together to practice our dogs acting politely around food), and more!
2) Private In-person Training Sessions

3) Video Training Session

She has always had a passion for animal behavior and training and brings her focus and passion to Allegiance with a bright smile and a keen intelligence.Perseus "Percy" Service Dog in Training & Demo Dog Perseus was born in September 2018 and is an English Cream Golden Retriever and was chosen to be a service dog candidate from his litter at 3 weeks old. He has been trained by all of Allegiance's trainers and will hopefully, one day, become a service dog for Jenny.
Audrey Lead Dog Trainer & Jedi Audrey Griffin has extensive experience with many species of animals having raised and cared for everything from dogs to bearded dragons. She also has many years of teaching experience with music before getting into dog training, including knowledge of learning theory and how to best apply it to all kinds and ages of learners. She has been working with nonprofits since she was 15 years old and is passionate about helping those in need as well as training both people and dogs. She currently has a household full of people, dogs, and animals that she juggles with work and still brings her bright smile everywhere.
Leia Demo Dog Leia was born in May of 2018 and is deaf, but she is still smart as a whip. She works with our head trainer, Audrey, and is learning quickly. Her lack of hearing is actually a great benefit because she doesn't react to most loud sounds!
Orion Mascot, Retired Service Dog, Canine Good Citizen, Advanced Trick Dog Orion was born in 2015 and handled, socialized, and trained from his first week of life. He quickly learned his tasks and basic obedience, but shortly after he passed his certification test, it was found out that he has bad knees and hips, so he had to be retired very early. He still has a high level of training, but his skills have slipped as he hasn't practiced as much, so he's currently the Allegiance Mascot and Kissing Master.
