Pet Sitters was established in 1989 by Alison Hamilton. She moved from New York City to care for her parents, and now cares for everyone else's pets as well as her own six Shelties. She does not advertise on her vehicle when she picks up a pet, to ensure the safety of the client's home. She administers insulin to cats and dogs. She'll even do wedding parties (provided a dog is in the wedding). And she charges a flat rate of $16 no matter how many animals are being cared for. Alison is a student of mythology and literature and her dogs are named accordingly
