To achieve this goal we carefully evaluate each patients oral condition with respect to teeth and tissue health, oral biology, functional needs, and social and aesthetic concerns. Because there is a confusing and expanding array of dental procedures available and aggressively marketed, our patients have all their questions answered before any treatment begins. By developing a long range treatment plan, we can achieve evidence based care and lasting value for each patient.

Glendale Family Dental Care is a fee for service private practice, offering quality General Dental Care and Services. The owner and practicing dentist Lloyd Turner DDS, earned his dental degree at USC Dental School, 1974. He opened his practice in 1991 and it is located at 932 North Brand Blvd Glendale Ca 91202. Previously Lloyd served as clinical dentist and Associate Dental director for Cigna Healthplans of Southern California from 1975-1991. He continued as the Quality Assurance Adviser for Cigna Healthplans Dental Division from 1991-1995. He is a Life member of the ADA and currently a member of the California Dental Society. He is also a participating dentist with www.HealingHeartsACrossBorders.com, providing free emergency dental care for residents of a sister city in Tijuana, Mexico. His staff includes two well trained and experienced hygienists, two experienced receptionists and dental assistants.This is not an HMO office, so you will not find crowded waiting rooms and overbooked schedules. Instead the staff concentrates on providing excellent care and services to fee for service patients. Many insurance plans are accepted, as well as cash, checks, major credit cards, Care Credit. Our receptionists are dedicated to helping you with your payment needs.

1) Preventative Dental Care

Oral Hygiene Instructions, Fluoride treatments, Sealants, Night Guards, Habit appliances including the NTI , Sports Guards, Snore Guards, Fluoride Trays for post radiation cases.

2) Diagnostic

Clinical examination of oral tissues, gum tissues, teeth, occlusion (bites), and associated oral structures. Children will be evaluated with regards to their developing dentition. Chinlical examination will be supplemented by indicated dental x-rays, and the use of additional radiographic imaging techniques where surgical procedures like implants are being considered. Occlusal analysis, study models and diagnostic wax-ups and prosthetic evaluations are used to preview and preplan esthetic cases like veneers, as well as implant placement

Fillings, veneers, crowns, bridges,partials, dentures, implants and implant connected restorations, are provided after the patient has a thorough understanding of the risks, benefits and cost, of the proposed procedures. All of these procedures will be accomplished with care, precision and with your satisfaction with regard to comfort in mind. All of the restorative procedures described will be accomplished with the cosmetic results in mind. We can also focus our attention on providing restorations whose main goal is to achieve a well defined cosmetic results.
