Run by Harvard law, graduates Allison Margolin and J. Raza Lawrence, the firm is also flanked by three junior associates who have, under the auspices of Allison and Raza, helped allow our firm to be a criminal defense firm but with the ability and skill to handle civil matters as well.

Partner J. Raza Lawrence spent his early years in practice in civil litigation with the prestigious Munger Tolles & Olson after being selected to work as a clerk for the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Allison has spent her past 10 years in criminal defense, and both partners are known for their success in trial against almost unbeatable odds, and at the same time, having the perspective to know when and how to negotiate.

The office is flanked by junior associates David F. Poblete, Esq. a Loyola law grad who before he was sworn into the bar, authored a writ granted by our division of the Court of Appeals. Since he has hung his first jury trial where prosecutors alleged our client sold marijuana to an undercover officer pretending to be a marijuana patient.
