Chef Jim and Heidi Peyton offer you comfortable country dining, wines and spirits in their 1773 Tavern House in beautiful Orford, New Hampshire. Choose from the main dining room, casual tavern room, leisurely bar area, or patio (weather permitting). Reservations accepted, walk-ins welcome. Peyton Place has been family owned and operated in Orford, NH for 20 years. Chef Jim Peyton received his formal training at the New England Culinary Institute. He has developed his signature style over the course of his 30-year career, having held past chef positions at Christian’s Restaurant in New Orleans, The Peninsula and Regency Hotels in New York City, and The French Embassy and The National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
