At Stowaway Charters we provide our customers with a professional and courteous fishing charter. We try to make your fishing experience fun and enjoyable You'll experience ""hands on"" fishing, using quality fishing equipment. We can teach you how to fish and guide you into landing that tropny Salmon or Trout you have my guarantee. 2016 is my 36th year as a licensed charter captain. I got my first license in 1980. I am the oldest licensed captain in Ludington and one of the oldest in the state. I love fishing in Lake Michigan and I love the challenge of trying to outwit the trout and salmon on a daily basis.

1) Fishing Charters
Welcome Aboard the Stowaway. A 27 ft Tiara Sportfisherman. We offer an action packed fishing charter in the clear blue waters of Lake Michigan. Young or older, novice or experienced, children or adults are all welcome aboard the Stowaway. Our home port is Ludington, Michigan, the salmon capital of Lake Michigan. We fish for Chinook Salmon, Steelhead Trout, Brown Trout, Coho Salmon and Lake Trout. We can guide you into landing that trophy salmon or trout whether you are a novice or an experienced angler. We have all of the newest safety gear and the latest equipment. We have a standup head (bathroom) and an enclosed cabin to keep you out of the weather. Everything is furnished except your food and drink and your daily fishing license. Fish are cleaned and bagged on the return trip.
2) Stowaway Charters Fishing Report
A tri-weekly fishing report to let you know what is going on in the Ludington area as far as salmon and trout fishing activity. The areas we cover are from south of Ludington to Little Point and north of Ludington to Gourney Creek. Find out what kinds of trout and salmon are biting, where they are biting and the best baits for trout and salmon.
3) At Stowaway Charters We Teach You How To Fish Using Different Tecniques.
Welcome aboard the Stowaway where we show you how to use the different systems for catching trout and salmon on Lake Michigan. Using downriggers with sliders. Dipsey divers and wire dipsy divers, three, five, seven and ten color leadcores. 100, 200, 300, and 400 ft copper lines. We show you our presentation for using spoons, j-plugs, Flashers and squids, Spin Doctors and meat rigs and body baits on the high lines.
4) Recipes
At Stowaway Charters we hand out a mini recipe book with some of our favorite recipes for trout and salmon.
