Owners Jay and Marti Hilliard have been married 22 years and have two children, Kirsten (currently a Junior majoring in Speech Pathology at Valdosta State University) and Kyle (currently a Senior at Schley County High School). Marti teaches in the Schley County School System. Jay has worked with the State of Georgia for the past 20 years as a Facility Director for juvenile facilities and as an instructor of Criminal Justice for the Technical College System of Georgia.

A desire to create and operate their own company was the motivating factor in venturing into the floor care business. Jay received certification from The Clean Trust in carpet cleaning, hard floor care, and water restoration to be able to provide quality, certified service to customers.

S&S will provide service and sales in the Americus, Georgia and Newnan, Georgia areas. The business focus will be on quality service, sales, and installation at very affordable prices. S&S also provides 24 hour flood restoration services and fire and smoke restoration.

Jay and Marti decided that the business model they would focus on would be to keep overhead to a bare minimum and instead invest in quality training and equipment. With today's technology, S&S will operate without a storefront which will greatly lower expenses and allow S&S to provice the best service and sales at lower prices. got floors? S&S is a Clean Trust Certified Company which means our technicians are trained in the latest techniques and our equipment meets the Carpet and Rug Institute Standard for professional cleaners. This ensures a clean, healthy environment for your family and ensures that the warranty for your stain resistant carpet is not voided. To maintain this warranty, you must have your carpet cleaned by a certified technician at least every 18 months.
