Down To Earth Gardening Solutions is a family owned and operated garden supply store specializing in organic, heirloom and hydroponic gardening. Brothers Nathaniel and Seamus Ethridge, along with Seamus partner Adrienne Veillette, envision a place where the Santa Ynez Valley residents can come for the seeds, soils, amendments and other supplies they need to make their gardens the most abundant and enjoyable they can be. In addition to an array of useful and entertaining books, Down To Earth also hosts a series of garden workshops and speakers throughout the year to bring the community together to learn.
We believe that the use of chemicals in our edible and ornamental gardens is avoidable and have chosen to focus on natural ways to nourish ourselves and enjoy the exceptional beauty of our surroundings. Growing flowers, herbs and vegetables naturally and organically is not more difficult or time consuming than using chemicals. It starts with good soil full of healthy microorganisms and a little TLC. Whether you have acres of land or a small patio we can help you grow vegetables, herbs and flowers in your space.
