We believe firmly that a person with a psychiatric disorder can build a better life. To help each of our residents achieve this goal, we offer care based on three principles. We keep our size small to just 11 male residents, so no one gets lost in the shuffle. Each resident is known as an individual and we can build on personal strengths. Staff and residents form relationships real ones. And we can fine-tune our programs to each persons needs and wishes.

FortySeven Main Street, Inc. is a small community dedicated to enriching the lives of male residents coping with mental illness.
We are licensed by the State of Vermont as a TCR (Therapeutic Community Residence.) For over forty years, we have provided quality care to people in need of guidance and/or supervision due to mental illness.
