Established in 1979, our company directly employs its entire workforce. We do not sub-contract our work to others. This allows us to keep control over the quality and continuity of our service. Our philosophy of offering career type compensation packages has allowed us to attract and retain the best craftsmen in the field. Our staff has the training and experience to complete the full scope of work that we offer without having to go outside of our company.

1) Tile & Slate Roofing

Over our 30 year history we have restored hundreds of slate and tile roofs in the Milwaukee area. We take great care in matching the original materials in an effort to maintain the character of some of the finest old homes in the state. Our workers have extensive sheet metal experience which allows us to custom fabricate flashing details in critical areas and fit them correctly with the roof tile or slate. The use of copper with soldered joints assures these flashing repairs will last. Our large inventory of reclaimed tile and slate allows us to do repairs without any change to the appearance of the roof.

2) Custom Gutters & Downspouts

Gutters take a lot of punishment during Wisconsin wintersand many older buildings need repairs or replacements. Our craftsmen are very dilligent in fabricating replacements so that they match the original. We have the equipment and skill to create any design from a flat cooper sheet and can offer subtle enhancements to improve the strength without compromising the original look. We will remove the bottom courses of roofing to allow for the proper lap of the gutter back and re-install the roofing when the new gutter is in place. All seams are soldered.
Replacement downspouts are provided in the original size and profile. All seams between the sections and along the back of the sections are soldered. Decorative straps and leader head boxes are available.

4) Snow And Ice Control

Heavy build ups of snow on roofs and the resulting icing can cause problems with snow slides and ice dam related leaks. We offer sliding snow protection using either individual snow guards spaced through out the problem roof area or snow rails mounted at the lower edge of the roof. Both are fabricated from brass and bronze. Properly installed heavy duty heat cables prevent the formation of ice dams in trouble areas. Custom copper clips are fastened to the tile and gutter to assure the cable will stay mounted in harsh conditions.

5) Inspection Services

We provide an inspection services for prospective buyers of houses with tile or slate roofing. We will evaluate the roofing, flashings, gutters, downspouts, and flat roofs. Our detailed reports include photographs taken from the roof. We are prepared to move on short notice to help make tight inspection deadlines.
