I’m Bob Missel, owner of Sampter’s and grandson of our founder, Gerald Sampter. My Grandfather had a vision when he opened Sampter’s. It was to provide quality clothing at a fair price. Today, I am pleased to say his vision lives on. From our original location at 517 N. Main Street we have been serving our customers and providing quality apparel from the same location since 1925.

Sampter’s is a full-line mens’ clothing store offering anything you might need including brands like Enro, J. Garcia, Tommy Bahama, Dockers, Elsha, Fossil and more. We also carry womens’ apparel including brands such as Tribal, Michael Tyler, Joseph Ribkoff, Tasc and Keren Hart.

Our rich history
Located in Fremont’s Downtown Historic District, Sampter’s is a full line men’s and women’s clothing store. In men’s we offer everything from custom made suits, sportswear, shoes, and denim. On the women’s side, we carry upscale sportswear, dressy and casual, from a variety of terrific name brands. We also offer tuxedo rentals and accessories’ featuring all the latest looks and styles. Beginning in 1995 our building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a contributing building in the Fremont Historic Commercial District.

Bob Missel Is The Owner Of Sampter’s And Grandson Of The Store’s Founder, Gerald Sampter, Who Founded The Store In 1925. In 1983 Bob Began Working At Sampter’s, Learning The Business From His Grandfather. Two Years Later, In 1985, He Took The Store Over. bob Values And Respects Each One Of His Customers. At Sampter’s It’s All About Relationships; Bob And His Team Know Their Customers By Name And Are Truly Interested In Helping Them Make The Best Selection. With Over 30 Years’ Experience In The Business, When It Comes To Getting A Great Fitting, Properly Tailored Suit, He’s Your Guy. Bob’s Favorite Shirt They Sell Is The Enro Dress Shirt; The Fit, Style, And Fabric All Exceed Expectations Making It The Best Dress Shirt In The Market Today In His Eyes. bob Is Passionate About The Business And Can Be Found In His Office, On The Sales Floor, And Even Hemming A Pant Leg If Needed. In Addition To Running Sampter’s He Also Serves As Dodge County Supervisor And Is An Active On Many Local Boards. He Enjoys Golf And Is An Avid Collector Of Us Coins And Currency.

We offer all this and back it up with a knowledgeable staff and our own in-house tailor. Key clothing lines include Petrocelli, Austin Reed and Daniel Hechter. Key sportswear lines include Tommy Bahama, CHAPS by Ralf Lauren, Callaway, Tori Richards, Tasc, Levi Jeans, Dockers, Scully Leather and FX Fusion. We also carry shoes from Johnston & Murphy and Nunn Bush.

2) Women's Clothing
